About Dolce Melba

Dolce Melba is my culinary adventure, and comes from my love of food and cooking. As an attorney by day, sometimes nothing seems quite as satisfying as cooking for people and making them happy with the food I make!

I don't have any formal culinary training, but my training came from necessity. My mother excelled at the more savory dishes, especially filipino ones, so I learned to prepare sweets. Over the years, friends and family have urged me to go into business for myself. Their encouragement, along with the sweet scent of baking cookies and anything made with chocolate, could not be ignored. So here I am. To my family and my friends, thank you for pushing me.
